The Art of Pilates by Einat offers classes in several disciplines that are appropriate for all levels of fitness and skill:
- Reformer Pilates
- Barre Intensity
- Massage Therapy
Classes are limited to five students, who utilize top of the line reformers that are impeccably maintained. In addition, the class integrates the use of free weights, fitness balls, and resistance rings. Classes vary day to day and routines are structured to incorporate different elements. Most students attend multiple classes weekly, and they receive varied workout routines that utilize different equipment and focus on alternate muscle groups. No class is ever the same so that students can find fresh challenges and ongoing motivation. In addition to strengthening the core muscles, the technique also incorporates exercises for legs, arms, glutes, hip and back. Accommodations are made for students with injuries or physical limitations.
Barre Intensity combines elements of Pilates, dance and traditional fitness training. Small, isolated movements are carefully sequenced to work targeted muscle groups and elevate the heart rate. In addition to bar work, the class also utilizes weights, balls, bands and gliders. Accommodations are made for students with injuries or physical limitations.
Terri Lieberman is our Yoga/Stretch instructor. She is certified in Hatha/Vinyasa Yoga and Yin Yoga, and has been a perfecting her own art of yoga for more than 15 years. Yin Yoga instruction offers a passive class experience where postures are held for an extended period, focusing mainly on the lower part of the body. Yin Yoga instruction focuses on relaxing the muscles while targeting the connective tissues, such as ligaments, bones, and joints of the body that are not normally exercised. Vinyasa Yoga instruction is a flow class where movements are coordinated with breath as students move from to different poses.Â Both classes are suitable for most levels of students.
